2011-12-17     Thinking about the 50th anniversary of Vatican II - October 11, 2012

It will be interesting to see how the Vatican celebrates this anniversary.
Maybe a bit like a husband arranging a birthday party for his abandoned wife?

What can I personally do to celebrate Oct 11, 2012?

I can make an effort to re-read the 16 documents of V2.
I read every word of them when they first came out,
and continued to read them for some time

But I must admit I stopped reading them about 20 years ago

During the coming 10 months I'm going to try to re-read every document.

A radio program that's been around since the time of Adam: "Back to the Bible".
Now is the time for a personal program: "Back to V2"

This re-reading will keep the vision of V2 alive in my heart

Maybe like-minded people in each city, each parish, can form V2 study-action groups?
