Down through the ages, many symbols have been used for the impossible task of trying to represent the Holy Trinity - triangles, shamrocks, knots etc

A couple of years ago when praying with some sick people in the chapel of Hong Kong's Mariners' Club in Tsim Sha Tsui, I looked up at a fan on the wall and saw how the three blades first of all look like a dove (.. Holy Spirit ..), and then saw how when the fan starts spinning, the three blades are indistinguishable

Maybe such a fan also can be used as a symbol of the Trinity

On checking Google, I find the above idea in the writing of
Fr Gerry M. Orbos SVD in
The Philippine Daily Inquirer of June 18, 2000

Glory be to the FATHER, and to the SON, and to the HOLY SPIRIT!
