 Based on the Vatican 2 document 
"Gaudium et Spes" (Church in the world)  Chapter 3: 35

Two sentences stand out in this article:

1. A person is more precious for what he/she  is      than for what he/she  has

2. Progress in justice, compassion and social relationships
is more important than technical progress

All jobs/careers are good in their own way,
but jobs involving more contact with and service of people
are special:  education, health, social work, charity work, church ministry

Jesus, please help us do more to encourage young people
to think about the "people" jobs
