What's the role of the Church in today's world?
A bit of a controversial topic.

Some people say: Church's job is just to preach the Gospel.
So...stay out of politics....stay out of social justice etc.

This article says:
- the Church is meant serve as a leaven and as a kind of soul for human society.
(Leaven...makes things happen in the oven; soul...gives life to body)
- the Church is meant to help people see the deeper meaning of everyday activity

Jesus, may the Church incarnate your love, your care, your compassion, your truth
in our world
