Marriage is God's idea, part of God's plan.

Jesus reminds us that marriage, ideally, is meant to be a life-long affair,
although Jesus himself made an exception for the woman at the well,
and St Paul and St Peter also allowed for exceptions

The Christian family is a mini-church,
and is a witness to the world of Jesus' love

Jesus, in our days when marriage is under siege from many sides,
please give extra strength and protection to family life
