Mary's role in God's plan becomes clearer as we turn the pages of the Bible.

In Genesis, Mary is the woman who will be an enemy of the serpent,
the woman whose offspring will defeat Satan

In Isaiah, Mary is the virgin whose Son will be called Emmanuel

In the Gospels, Mary is the mother whose Son is "God Saves", "Jesus"

God chose Mary to incarnate his Son.
If we want to incarnate Jesus in our lives,
we need to imitate Mary's example, her faith,
her courage, her willingness to help others,
her humility, her prayerfulness

Jesus, thank you for putting a tender love of Mary
deep in our hearts. May that love never go out.
Mary, please help us incarnate Jesus in our daily lives
