One idea from these articles:
missionary groups in a mission area should co-ordinate their work

If only this had happened when the Jesuits were joined in China by the Franciscans and Dominicans

In fact, the opposite happened: the OFMs and OPs, with their experience in South America and the Philippines, wanted to do things differently from the way the Jesuits had been working....with disastrous results

Any such problem these days? Yes...an example comes to mind from Japan, where the Neo-Cats have caused many problems for the local bishops  (and not just in Japan...)

Jesus, please protect mission work from extremists!
