Christian generosity means imitating the kindness and compassion and love of Jesus. Such generosity is already present in all societies.
Think of the daily sight of people offering their Metro seat to somone in need. 
Christians are called to support, encourage and increase such a presence of love, and through that love help more and more people discover the Source of all love
