For many priests however, as the years go on, the spiritual life goes out

Bible, breviary, rosary, meditation, Blessed Sacrament etc gradually become less and less important, less and less common

Prayer becomes something done when you have to do it...at Mass, at a baptism, at a funeral etc....not something done everyday for its own sake

Jesus, please help priests keep alive the fire of their spiritual life
